Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Holly Easter Kelley was appointed to the FBI in September, 2004. She began her career in the Austin Resident Agency (RA) where she investigated an array of White Collar Crime matters, to include Corporate and Securities Fraud, Mortgage Fraud, Bank Fraud and Public Corruption. In April 2014, she was selected as an SSA in the Financial Institution Fraud Unit (FIFU) in Washington, DC. While assigned to FIFU, she was responsible for the FBI’s asset forfeiture, bankruptcy fraud, financial institution fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and mortgage fraud programs for the South Central Region and was the primary manager of the FBI’s Identity Theft Program. In 2016, she was promoted to the SSA of the White Collar Crime Squad and was the San Antonio Field Office Program Coordinator for all Complex Financial Crimes Programs, including Health Care Fraud. In 2021, she was selected as the first Supervisory Senior Resident Agent of the Waco RA, overseeing all criminal threats. In 2023, she was selected to serve as the Branch 1 ASAC of the Dallas Division which encompasses all White Collar Crimes to include Public Corruption and Civil Rights. She also oversees the Dallas Forensic Accountant program.
ASAC Kelley has a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas and holds an active Texas CPA license. Prior to joining the FBI, ASAC Kelley practiced public accounting, with a focus on corporate taxes, for a regional public accounting firm in Dallas, Texas.
