Chapter Membership Information  

Below are descriptions of each of our membership categories:

• CFE Member: Open to Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs). You must have the CFE designation and be a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Please include your CFE number in your application, for us to verify prior to membership approval.
• Associate: Open to individuals who do not fit in any of the other categories listed here. 
• Law Enforcement / Government: Open to Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) and non-CFEs who are currently employed in a law enforcement position or with a government agency. If you are a CFE, please include your CFE number in your profile.
• Educator: Open to individuals who are employed by an institution of higher learning, as an educator, as your primary means of employment. 
• Student: Open to undergraduate or graduate students, enrolled full-time in a college or university. Student affiliates cannot vote, hold office, or participate on committees. Please consider applying using your university email address, or you may need to provide evidence of current full-time student status prior to membership approval.

Membership lasts the calendar year, and goes up for renewal every January, regardless of when you first enroll. If you are looking to join our chapter in the latter half of the year and would like a 50% discount on that partial year membership to start, please reach out to the Chapter Treasurer after completing your membership application, but before paying the full invoice, to get the discount.   

Membership in the Fort Worth Chapter does not include national ACFE dues. Membership in a local ACFE chapter is completely optional, and not required to retain your CFE credential with the ACFE.
